New games and new software update

On Monday 14th of May 2018 version 2.9 of the Active Floor software is released, and with the new update 7 new games follow – 1 sensory game and 6 gaming skins.

… and of course the games will be released to all Active Floors – whether you have a ONE, PRO or MAX solution.

Awesome Forest

In the new game ‘Awesome Forest’ the senses are in focus. The game sets the stage for movement and using the senses, as you are introduced to both colours and sounds in an autumn forest.

The game has two functions. One where the participants’ goal is to have a good time and collaborate in sweeping away all the leaves with their feet until no leaves are left on the floor. In the other function, the children can play freely and they can push the leaves around the floor with their feet (or hands) – little by little the leaves reappear on the floor.

For multiple players.

Unicorn

Our classic matching game has gotten a completely new look – we call it a skin. In the game, Unicorns, the participants get a whole new visual experience. Rainbows, sugar glazed donuts and the unicorns Shina, Silly, Fancy and Jolly invite imaginative training of the memory and collaborative skills.

The participants take turns to flip over two cards which lie on the playing surface. When the pictures match you get a pair and the unicorn neighs enthusiastically. When all the cards have been matched, the unicorn with the most pairs wins the game.

The content on the cards can be both text, pictures and sounds.

The game can be adjusted so that there are between 4 to 32 cards.

The Swamp

The game ‘The Swamp’ is a quiz game where two teams/players compete to be the first to get across the floating tree trunks.

The game works like our Jungle Game where there are two variants of the game – one where each team take turns answering and the participants wait for each other, and one where it is a race. Either as a team or on their own, the participants have to answer questions which bring them closer to the finish line so that they can get to the other side. If the player gives a wrong answer, the tree trunks sink and the person “falls into the water” and has to start over. The goal is to be the first to reach the suitcase filled with money.

The Swamp trains the memory and collaborative skills.

For 2 players/teams.

Quadro-World

In the game Quadro-World you find yourself in a colourful imaginative world where you in several rounds have to solve tasks together.

Questions are asked and multiple answers float around on the floor. The participants have to pick the right answer as quickly as possible by jumping on it. If you are too slow you risk not jumping on all the right answers before the time is up. The right and wrong answers are revealed when you reach the pre-set time limit.

The game trains your ready knowledge, ability to keep a clear head and cooperative skills, while the participants are physically active. You can easily construct the tasks yourself so that they fit the age group and subject that are relevant to you.

For 1-4 players/teams.

Under the Sea

In the new gaming skin ‘Under the Sea’, the players are invited down below sea level, where the turtles Turtle-Blue, Turtle-Yellow, and Turtle-Purple are having a big Fest-sea-wal.

‘Under the Sea’ functions like our quiz game ‘Pirates’ Island’ where the players have to solve tasks before the time is up. The game has different degrees of difficulty which you can set yourself. The players have to work together to conquer things for their party. The winning team (and turtle) is the one that has conquered the most things for their party when the time is up. You can construct your own questions and tasks and in that way decide the level and the content in the game. The game can be used in all subjects.

In this game, the players’ cooperative skills, knowledge and ability to keep a clear head are trained.

For 1-4 players/teams.

Kitchen garden

Like The Flower Garden, The Kitchen Garden is a coordination game where the players grow their carrots, tomatoes, potatoes and radishes. The participants have to think creatively and act logically. They have to collaborate and have a good time planning and tending their garden – from preparing the garden soil for planting, sowing, watering, weeding, disinfesting and examining the animals – so that the garden ends up as you want it to be.

To carry out the actions in the game, the players have to stand on one leg – in this way, they improve their balance at the same time.

For 1-4 players.

DeathStone

Our classic matching game has gotten yet another skin – DeathStone.

Take a trip into the cave of death where fire, heavy boulders and skulls create a cool frame for training the memory and collaborative skills.

The participants take turns to flip over two cards which lie on the playing surface. When the pictures match you get a pair. When the game is over, the team with the most pairs wins the game.

The content on the cards can be both text, pictures and sounds.

The game can be adjusted so that there are from 4 to 32 cards.
